We sold Forever
Trend as a yearling to John Keidel, Penn Yan, NY. in 2005.
He has been used successfully by him on his commercial polled
hereford herd to produce top quality calves, we had the opportunity
to re-purchase '234' this past fall as a rising 5 year
old.
His dam served as a donor cow for us and is now, at 12 years old, in the McCracken
Vu herd and remains a powerful, productive cow with perfect udder structure.
His maternal sister '274' will qualify as a Pathfinder this year with 3@ 105
weaning ratio and a 343 day interval. Her natural son by MTV was our joint
top selling bull in our fall production sale to repeat customer Doug Bunker.
We will use '234' both clean up and directly on some of our best cows this
coming year, we think he is the soundest, easiest moving, big testicled and
muscular 315 son we've ever seen. His deep maternal pedigree with Forever Lady
395GDAR, Miss Wix of McCumber 365 and Miss Wix of McCumber 903 on the bottom
side will tie in nicely with many of the female lines we have established.
